Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of Hometown FC (“the game”), a single-player football management game for iOS and Android published by Hometown FC (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the game.
Your use of the game is also subject to the rules of the store you downloaded it from (the Apple App Store or Google Play), including their standard end-user licence agreement.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the game except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
In-app purchases & virtual items
The game offers optional in-app purchases (convenience cash packs, a one-time “Remove Ads”, and optional head-start packs).
- Purchases are processed by the App Store or Google Play under their terms; we do not handle or see your payment details.
- In-game currency and items have no real-world cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are licensed to you for use within the game only.
- EU/EEA right of withdrawal: digital content and in-game items are supplied and made available for use immediately. By completing a purchase you ask us to begin supply at once and acknowledge that, once the item has been delivered or used, your 14-day right of withdrawal is lost. Refund requests are handled by the App Store / Google Play under their refund policies; you may also contact us and we will deal with reasonable requests in good faith.
Advertising
The game shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Ad data handling is described in our Privacy Policy. Buying “Remove Ads” disables ads on your device.
No warranty
The game is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device. Nothing in these terms limits your mandatory statutory consumer rights, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
Your save data
Your game data is stored on your device. We do not run a server that holds your saves. You are responsible for backing up saves you wish to keep (see “Export save” in the game).
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always at this URL with the “last updated” date above revised.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
